The hotel is a bit far from downtown LA, but staying here was worth it while I was in town on vacation to see the Lakers, Clippers, Chargers, and USC football. It felt like a modern, well-kept, safe luxury Vegas hotel, only more affordable and less chaotic. The staff were helpful, the valet attentive, and my room was clean, spacious, and nice. There are plenty of amenities, including a pool and fitness center. I ate downstairs at the Bike brewery and thought the food was very good for reasonable prices. I also spent the week playing table games. There's a wide choice and different betting limits, from low to high. I played Blackjack, Baccarat, 3 card poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold 'em. The casino and floor staff were helpful too. I didn't have much luck for most of the week, but had a great time and left with a profit during the last two days. I'd stay again.

We were there for a whole week, and the casino was packed morning, noon, and night. Even with all those people, it stayed remarkably quiet. The hotel itself was very clean, the rooms were large, and the facilities were immaculate. Staff were kind and professional. The Cafe also made some impressive coffee drinks. The food was mixed. The sushi was phenomenal, with the freshest fish I've ever had, despite my low expectations. I tried the Vietnamese restaurant too, and the pho was okay, with really tender beef. The American food was bad, and the cocktails at the Bicycle pub were terrible. I'd stick to bottled or canned beer there. My only real gripe about the room was that there's no Wi-Fi and the TVs aren't smart TVs. Not a huge deal, but on a couple of nights we weren't feeling well and stayed in, and streaming Netflix would've been nice.

The rooms looked modern and felt secure, clean, stylish, and comfortable, definitely above average for a casino stay. It was easy to relax between trips to the floor. Service was decent, though I would've liked more attention during busy times. The location is easy to find, parking is good, and there are food options nearby. I've stayed here five times now. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it's quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Security staff are around 24/7, and the area feels pretty safe. The hotel connects to its own casino, and this is my favorite place in LA to play poker. The medium-sized poker room has good action, a great structure, 5/5 stakes with a 1k max buy in, plus high hand and bad beat jackpots.
