Nubell Motel

What stood out most was how carefully the staff treated my severe allergy to second cannabis. I told them when I arrived, and they took it seriously. When people partying outside started using marijuana by my door, I got really sick because the door wasn't sealed all the way around. Staff asked them to stop near my room, and they did at first, but a couple of hours later they started again. After we reported it a second time, the man at the desk came up with a thoughtful fix: we could leave our heavy luggage in the room and sleep in another one for the night. I was able to settle down and rest without more health problems. Thank you to that man. The room itself was nice and clean, with responsive air conditioning, a mini fridge, microwave, and plenty of outlets and lighting options for setting up my things.

Parking right outside the room was handy, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed my recent stay, and the room was excellent.

The low price might make you expect a run-down motel like the nearby competitors, but the rooms are clean and feel more like little houses or suites. The layout is basically a large parking lot with a bunch of ADU's, so you can park right outside your door and don't have to walk far to your car. It feels automatically handicap accessible. My 2-star LOCATION rating is meant to show how good this hotel is compared with its surroundings. The nearby options could be Hilton, Double Tree, Holiday Inn, or Embassy Suites, and this place still doesn't compare to them. Seriously, 15 stars out of 10.

The rooms are nice and quiet, and the staff are friendly. I reported two problems right away, but neither got fixed. The wifi was really slow and kept buffering, which was especially annoying. There were also thousands of tiny ants. I left a paper plate from dinner on the counter overnight. It had no solid food left on it, but the plate and counter were covered with ants. I stopped leaving food or dishes out after that, and the issue still wasn't dealt with.
