Super 8 Bellefontaine

The nighttime staff member with the badass earrings was a dream. I arrived really late after being held up at the border, and she was ready for me, got me checked in, and sent me off to sleep lickety split. I really appreciated that. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though the decor was kind of outdated. The hallways were a little dirty, and the smell of weed got stronger near my section, but thankfully I couldn't smell it in my room. There was also some noise, maybe from my heater or a neighbor's, that made falling asleep difficult. After my work delivery first thing, it was hard to get back to sleep. Breakfast was basic, with cereal, bread for toast, muffins, and make-your-own waffles. Nothing spectacular either way, just a reasonable, budget-friendly place to stay.

Super 8 is a comfortable, safe place to stay, whether you're traveling or here for a short or long stay. The rooms are clean, the staff are great, and the owner is friendly. Prices are reasonable too, and you can't beat them compared with the competition. I'd pick super 8 over either of the other two places in town any day.

The staff were friendly and made check-in and checkout easy, and they even shared local recommendations. The hotel was quiet and very clean, inside and out, with an especially clean room. Great value all around. I can't recommend super 8 enough for travelers who just need a place to sleep.

For the price, I honestly expected less, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sheets were clean, the room smelled fresh, and it felt quiet and safe at night. I'd definitely come back.
