Sweetgrass Inn B&B

We spent about 4 nights at the sweetgrass inn, and the owners were both lovely. The made-to-order breakfast was amazing, and it was handy to have the restaurant attached, with discounts available on other meals after a long day of hiking. The room was very clean and comfortable. Snacks, water, and other basic necessities are also available in a common room, which helped a lot. We'd definitely come back if we're in the area again.

Our quiet, lovely room had a comfortable bed and pillows, and I slept great. It was quaint and spacious, with soft sheets and towels, cute decor, and little amenities I hadn't expected. We brought our Pittbull mix and had no problem. There's a private outside door, a big yard, and a dog run. The restaurant had the best food and drinks we had all week. Our waitress recommended the Walleye, which was delicious. Breakfast was included and made to order, not a typical continental spread. I got tender, amazing steak tips and eggs, and my husband had an omelet tea. Andrea, Adam's boss LOL, knows all the attractions and even which trail to take at Mt. Rushmore. Adam, the owner, made our perfect cocktails and breakfast the next morning. The owners and staff are amazing. We'll be back and stay longer. Don't miss this gem!

Andrea and Adam made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast and snacks were top tier. Sweetgrass Inn is a great base for exploring Rapid City and the Black Hills, with easy access to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Custer State Park, and downtown Rapid City. We'll definitely be back.

A handy place to stop while passing through. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, and the attached bar and grill had tasty food at reasonable prices. There was a good range of drinks, including a nice selection of craft brews. I'd return if I were staying nearby.
