A very clean, fairly new hotel with good service. It’s about 15 minutes south of Route 80, with gas and fast food close by.

What a refreshing stop on our drive back to NYC from Chicago. The property is impressive and conveniently close to the highway. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. David made check-in easy with professional, kind hospitality, and checkout was just as simple. Hannah at the front desk was charming and polite. Tru by Hilton Bellefonte deserves those five stars.

A good option if you’re heading to Penn State for a football game.

10/10
We were visiting Penn State, about 10-15 minutes from the hotel, and I’d happily stay again. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was nice, especially the yogurt station my girls liked. The rooms were average in size and decor. The hotel had only been open for two weeks when we stayed. The lobby was cute, with lots of little cubbies and seating, plus a pool table and board games. Coffee and tea were available around the clock. Near the elevators, they had suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The workout room was very nice, with a Peloton bike, a couple of treadmills, an elliptical, and lots of weights.

This hotel is brand new, so I don’t see what there is to complain about, and I don’t understand the negative reviews. Hannah at the front desk deserves special praise for her excellent customer service and hospitality. Hilton is lucky to have her.
