Americas Best Value Inn Belleville

It’s quiet here, with a lovely view over Kansas fields from the edge of town. The motel sits well back from the highway, and there’s a big parking area behind it with open space where kids can play. There’s also a pond just west of the property within walking distance, though I don’t know whether fishing is allowed. The town is small, so food isn’t far away, but choices get limited after 10 p.m.; Walmart delivery from Concordia is an option if you need it. Inside, the room was clean and well looked after, with good carpeting, comfortable beds, and strong water pressure in both the tub and shower. It’s about the size I’d expect for a motel of its age. The larger-than-usual refrigerator has a freezer, which gives you more room than most motels. I was traveling alone and could’ve used another pillow. I imagine the provided pillows might be short for two people, though I could have asked staff for one and expect they would’ve helped. Breakfast was a typical continental spread. The owners and staff were welcoming, greeted guests, and made sure we were doing all right. They seem proud of the place and care about their guests. If you want a peaceful stay that feels like the country, this is a good spot. I’d stay again if I needed to.
