Red Roof Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport

Don't come here. Someone came into my room and stole two cans from the four-pack of nasty beer I bought. I only drank one, and I'll give them the last one. Be ready for people who don't clean up after their dogs, and for dope heads talking to themselves. The room itself was basic and not too bad, but the TV was missing some color. Honestly, it should be a $40 room. This is the last time I'm coming to this location.

The shuttle was on demand and timely to and from the airport, and the location was convenient. I booked through ParkSleepFly because of the good reviews and price. Room 319 surprised me with its size: it had a sitting area with a small kitchenette and a separate sleeping area with two standard beds, divided by a door. It appeared clean. But I woke to find a bug, possibly a bedbug or carpet bug, crawling on my pillow. After washing clothes at home, I found another in the dryer lint. I told the desk clerk, who said she'd inform the manager when he arrived later that morning. I don't know whether the room is being treated.

I've stayed at at least a dozen Red Roofs along the East Coast for work, and this is the best one so far. I had seven nights with no complaints and booked another 14 days. It's an indoor hotel, not a motel, and everything has been remodeled.

Someone got stabbed or something in the lobby, and cops were all over the place. The hotel is in a high-crime area, and the rooms were filthy. I wouldn't even use the shower, and there was sticky candy stuff all over the TV stand. Even basic things, like the awful-looking toilet paper holders, needed replacing. Worst hotel I've stayed at in years.
