The airport shuttle worked well. It came fairly soon after I called from the airport and left on time for the airport the next morning. The in-house restaurant was pretty good, though not cheap and with no discount for hotel guests. There's also a small lobby shop selling coffee and light food. I'd stay here again if it were the best price, though Crowne Plaza and Residence Inn are my preferred airport hotels. My room was comfortable, with working Wi-Fi, furniture, heating and AC, and a bathroom that worked and looked clean. The door barely blocked sound, though. Moving from the second floor to the third helped with the loud group drinking and watching sports in the lobby, but I could still hear people across the hall. The desk person was understanding when I asked to move because I didn't want to listen to the group all evening. I thought the hotel was fine for one night and chose it because it was a little cheaper than most nearby airport hotels for my date. It seemed mostly renovated, with some work still underway in other rooms. Those rooms were in another wing, but during a walk around I saw several open rooms, furniture and fixtures in the hall, and lights that didn't work. The occupied area was neat, and the lobby was nice.

The cafe was the worst part. They didn't have regular coffee, and the woman kept saying she had to make it but never did. The bagel was stale, with only poppyseed or raisin to choose from. I ordered cream cheese, but they didn't have any, which I only learned after asking. I was in town for work, and while this was somewhere to crash after work, I wasn't impressed. Check-in went well, but the parking lot was a ways from the entrance and had trash and gallon jugs blowing around. In the room, the TV had only ten channels, and some came in poorly. The shower drained so slowly that halfway through I was standing in three inches of water, and its floor was very slippery. There was no chair apart from the desk chair, and the heating and AC unit was really loud.

At checkout on Sunday, I asked for a discount because we hadn’t received what was advertised. I was told the manager would arrive in about 30 minutes, so I waited 45. The manager still wasn’t there. They said they’d leave a note and have the manager contact me, but I never heard anything. The internet didn’t come back until late Saturday, and that only happened after the IT person from the Expo helped Wyndham’s offshore team restore it. A few TV channels returned too, maybe five out of 30. We’d arrived Thursday and were warned that internet and TV might not work, though staff said they were working on it. They weren’t. When we kept asking for an estimate, the front desk guy repeated “we are working on it” and blamed the storm, even though we’d checked in before the storms started. Avoid this place. There are better, cheaper hotels nearby.

The room they put me in was in awful shape and nowhere near worth what I paid. I had booked and paid in full for a Presidential Suite, but was checked into a standard King Room instead. When I went back to the desk, the receptionist was eating chips and brushed me off with, “No, it’s your room.” She later claimed the hotel didn’t have any presidential suites. You can’t sell a room type and then say it doesn’t exist. I asked for a written statement that they wouldn’t provide the suite I’d paid for. The receptionist called a manager, who wasn’t even at the property, and after some back and forth I was told there were “no rooms available.” They wouldn’t put the refusal in writing. The manager said an official letter would be emailed, but it never came. Since then, the hotel has ignored my emails and complaints. I recorded video on Meta glasses, including staff acknowledging I wasn’t given the Presidential Suite. I’ll keep pursuing this formally. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, even after traveling extensively around the United States and staying in almost every state. The hotel was dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Avoid it.

We reserved an Executive King but got a room with two double beds. Check-in took more than two hours, with the desk barely moving even though there was a convention. Before that, corporate had called days ahead asking to speak to my wife despite my name being on the account and them calling my phone. The caller had an attitude when I wouldn’t put her on. During the show weekend, the internet and TV were out. When we raised it with staff, they acted like the problem was ours. I tried contacting management and was told they’d respond and wanted to make things right, but neither the hotel nor corporate followed up. Update: The hotel did call to discuss what happened. I then spoke with the General Manager, who said she’d refund $75 to my card for the issues and hoped to see me again. Two and a half weeks later, after I emailed the hotel, the refund still hadn’t arrived and I couldn’t get a response.
