The owner and people here have been great to me. There are a few people staying here who are kind of crazy, but they’re not harmful, and the other guests are kind too. The motel has helped with payments, and it’s honestly the cheapest one I found. It’s nothing like the old place, which I stayed at before and found to be hell. The new owner is working to fix this one up and make it a lot better. He’s trying to bring it back to how nice it was years ago, and he’s already doing great work. I’d suggest people give it a try.

I’m used to no-frills places, and check-in was okay. The front desk closes at 10:00 p.m. My first room hadn’t even been cleaned, though it was economical. The next room had a comfortable bed, but music was blasting early in the morning. There was a no-smoking sign on the door, yet the smoke smell was so strong it got into all my clothes, even the ones in my suitcase. The fridge froze everything I put in it, and I only realized that the next morning. They said there was HBO, but I never found it. The A/C kept shutting off for about 50 minutes at a time, sometimes longer, no matter how I set it. I showered with my shoes on. You get what you pay for, I guess. It served the purpose I needed it to.

The new owners have made the motel an amazing place. Everyone was super nice and accommodating, and the rooms were very clean. It’s downtown, close to lots of things.

Management was really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and affordable, with several restaurants within walking distance. There’s also a 24-hour ATM and notary service at the front desk. One of the best places around.

I slept well in the really nice room. The bed was comfortable.
