Courtyard by Marriott Omaha Bellevue Beardmore Event Center

We stayed five nights for a large dog show, and the staff were kind, professional, and helpful. The property looks current, whether it’s new or recently remodeled, and our spacious room fit our two big dogs and their crates. Even the sofa bed was comfortable, and the elevator was fast. The biggest problem was the bistro. During a sold-out week it seemed severely understaffed, and we waited an hour for a quesadilla and salad. When we went up to ask for a refund after 45 minutes, the server saw us but ignored us. The food arrived 15 minutes later. We ate elsewhere for the rest of the stay, even though the bistro was convenient. A few other things bothered me: the doors slammed, and I couldn’t find a way to close them quietly. The shower had no curtain or closing door, so the steam escaped and it was cold. The lobby and bistro air freshener was overpowering for anyone sensitive to scents.

We slept poorly because the walls were so thin that we could hear everything in both adjoining rooms. There was also construction noise, which we hadn’t been told about on the website. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and nice, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

I wouldn’t have booked four rooms for our family’s wedding visit if I’d known what was going on. The whole hotel was being renovated, making it loud, and the bar area was cold because automatic doors kept opening while painters worked nearby. We got a note saying our room had to be accessible from 8am to 5pm for air conditioning maintenance, but people were already in the hall with hoses and equipment before 8. The shower had no water pressure or hot water. This was a huge inconvenience for guests, and unacceptable.

The food was awesome, and the wedding went so smoothly. Maddie and the staff were amazing to work with while setting everything up. They were wonderful and super nice, and everyone said that whenever they had a question, staff stepped in to help. I wouldn’t change a thing. Best wedding ever.
