Hilton Bellevue

The reception was friendly, parking was easy, and our room was very spacious. We had to let the hot water run for a while before it reached the ninth floor, but it was worth the wait. The hotel is under renovation and must have been incredible in its day. The food was unbelievably good, especially the lamb chops and tenderloin bits. I wanted to order them again and try everything on the menu. This older, beautiful hotel left me genuinely impressed. I hope to return soon.

The light rail is right across the street, which is super convenient. We liked the grand lobby, friendly front desk staff, and spacious room, though it felt dated and the headboards could use dusting. The bar and eating area looked nice, and the staff there were friendly, though we didn’t eat. The elevators were being repaired, so only one was working and it took longer. The pool was warm, but the hot tub felt icky and was only about five degrees warmer than the pool. I take hotter showers than that. We stayed one night with my boyfriend.

We had nice mountain views and parks within walking distance, with good springtime walks, trailheads, and quick access to lake points. The railways connect right across the street. It’s a moderately luxurious Hilton with a great location. There’s a poolside jacuzzi, and the front desk staff are friendly. Breakfast was good, and the hydra-massage came with a free trial, then cost $10 for 10 minutes. The elevators were fast, with no lines.

The people made this stay feel special and personal, especially Angel, who made me feel like a VIP as soon as I sat down. The breakfast team was incredible, and both the coffee bar and dinner bar were excellent and convenient. I’d stay at this Hilton whenever I’m in Bellevue, even if it meant driving farther to my business meetings. The rooms, though, are showing their age. The bathtub felt dated and needs a new showerhead, the sofa was heavily worn, and the bed was mostly comfortable but its frame or mattress made an annoying noise whenever I moved in my sleep. The staff make it worth four stars. With updated fixtures and furniture, this could easily be the best hotel in Bellevue.
