Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown, WA

The room was clean, the location was good, and breakfast was excellent, especially the bacon and potatoes. I stayed for a business trip in January 2026, but I have serious concerns about billing and customer service. After checkout, I requested my folio by email for an expense report and found restaurant charges and a tip totaling over $60 including tax. I hadn’t ordered alcohol, eaten dinner at the restaurant, or signed a check for those items, so it appeared another guest’s bill had been charged to my room. I emailed the Front Office Manager several times asking for an investigation and correction, but nearly two weeks passed with no reply. The poor accounting and lack of support were disappointing, especially given the good facilities. I’m now having to file a chargeback with my credit card company. Future guests should check every line on their folio before checkout and sort out problems there. (3/6/2026, addition comment) Hotel management has responded and acknowledged the issue. I’ll watch my upcoming credit card statements and update this review if the incorrect charges are refunded as they said.

I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it. The whole team made us feel cared for, from the friendly housekeeping staff to the guest service people I spoke with. Check-in was easy, the hotel was clean, and every one of the three staff members I talked to was kind, patient, and genuinely caring. When noise prompted me to ask for an upstairs room, they moved us right away. Late at night, staff even came to my room with new keys and helped us through several rooms until we found the right one. Special thanks to Saweeta and, I believe, Sameeda. Sorry if I’ve misspelled that name. They were so sweet and amazing. It was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

We were disappointed by how the breakfast information was handled. On our two-night family-friends trip to Bellevue and Seattle, we went down for breakfast together and were asked whether it was included. We didn’t know there was a special condition, so we had to return to reception to check and were told it wasn’t included. The booking should clearly explain any breakfast conditions or separate charges so guests can make an informed choice. The situation was uncomfortable and avoidable. We travel often for business and know several hotel brands, including Holiday Inn, Country Inn & Suites, Best Western, and Hilton in Toronto, so clear communication at reservation would make a real difference.
