Seattle Marriott Bellevue

The people at the hotel were nice, and the rooms were okay and at least clean. The bathroom needs an upgrade, the walls let you hear everything, and my key card stopped working on my last night, possibly because of one of their elevator systems. My room's Kleenex was nearly gone on day one and never got refilled. The breakfast was disgusting. My coworker and I paid $40, but the eggs were dry and chewy, with no real egg taste, and the roasted potatoes were black, oily, and soggy. It looked like old oil was used, and my colleague couldn't eat it either. They also charged me $300 more than they should have. I've tried calling to sort it out, but the automated system kept pushing texts or email and didn't offer a front desk option. I selected operator and got sent to someone who wasn't helpful, told me to call the same number, then nobody answered when I called again. I was furious and couldn't get help. I told my boss and the EA who arranges corporate stays that we should stop using this hotel for coworkers. It definitely doesn't feel like a four-star place.

We stayed four nights. The hotel was good, though a bit expensive, but the lack of communication and service ruined the experience. They pre-authorized a $400 deposit, and three weeks after checkout I still had no news about the refund. The manager didn't seem to have time to reply when I contacted them. With that much money still tied up, I felt scammed by the poor service and wouldn't recommend the hotel. Try somewhere nearby. I'd be glad to work this out, but the only email address I have is for someone who hasn't replied. I need a working contact.

Parking is valet-only, though they validate parking across the street to reduce the cost. You still pay when you exit, so keep that in mind when planning. Otherwise, my stay at the Bellevue Marriott was comfortable and easy. The rooms were spotless, well kept, and staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help. I'd recommend it for business or leisure.

There's self-serve parking at Midstation 110 110th Ave NE, one block from the hotel. It's first floor only, requires validation at the front desk, and comes to $10 per exit. You're welcome! The room was comfy and delightfully cool at the standard 68°. The bed was comfortable, with electrical outlets that include USB, but not type C. There was a welcome bottle of water, an empty mini fridge, a microwave, and an iron and ironing board. The TV was Netflix enabled, and Bellevue Mall was about a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi costs extra unless you're a Gold member or above. The photo shows the self-serve parking lot sign.
