The man at the front desk was incredibly nice, but the rest of our stay was nowhere near what I’d expect from the Wyndham brand. Our room was freezing and had no comforter. We’re up North, so where are the comforters? The hallway floor and our room floor were dirty. The bathroom was the worst: hair and debris in the bathtub, peeling paint on the tile, old soap scum on the walls, and hot pink nail polish smeared across the counter and onto the mirrors. I didn’t shower. I thought the sheets were clean and didn’t see any bugs, but my husband noticed a perfume smell, so who really knows. We’ve stayed in low-budget hotels before, but paid $84 here and I’m not sure why. I didn’t take photos because other reviews already show much the same situation. How is this a Wyndham hotel? It’s probably the third-dirtiest place I’ve stayed, and I didn’t even want to take my shoes off. I assume it’ll shut down soon, only a matter of time.

The furniture was in rough shape, the carpet had stains, the walls were damaged, and the smoke detector kept chirping. The sheets were filthy and the towels stained. Breakfast also wasn’t served as advertised. For about the same price, you could stay at the newly remodeled Coachman Inn across the street and get a great breakfast. This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve had. The place needs to be torn down.

The staff were friendly, and I’ll give them five stars for that. The building itself is falling apart and badly neglected, and it shouldn’t carry the Wyndham brand. Most of the exterior doors had no card readers and could simply be opened. I had to shove my room door with my body to get it open. There was mold in the room, with a soft, damp ceiling around it. The bathroom drywall was atrocious and unfinished. The bathtub was so bad I wouldn’t bathe my cockroach in it. There was no breakfast at all, despite the Google listing. I’ve only stayed at one Days Inn that was worse, in Burmingham, Al. This place should be closed and bulldozed.

The bed was comfortable, which was about the only redeeming thing here. The pool couldn’t be used, the porcelain tub and sink were badly chipped, and the sink was dirty. There were holes in the walls, and the fire alarm had been removed. Someone had put paper over the door peephole, and housekeeping either never noticed or never took it off. The fire door in the hallway chirped for half the night. The hotel was disgusting.

We lasted maybe ten minutes in the room before leaving. There were flying bugs and dead ones on the floor, brown spots on the bathroom floor, sticky flooring in the main room, yellow stains on the linens, and stuff left in the refrigerator. We went to the front desk to ask for a refund after walking out, but they refused. This place isn’t clean, and I’d strongly suggest finding somewhere else to sleep.
