Orlando Motel

The rooms were cleaner than I expected, and the bed is comfortable. I like the lighting, and the music comes on when you enter. The mirrors are big, especially the one over the bed, and the stripper pole is really cool. I've stayed here lots of times for different lengths of time, and it's been better than I expected. Good job, guys.

Roaches, oil stained sheets, a dirty bathroom, and a tub that looked awful. There was mold and water damage in the room, and the ceiling was coming apart. It's the worst room I've ever been in. I only stayed because everywhere else was sold out. Honestly, I'd have preferred my car.

For a bargain price, the rest of our stay was top notch, and the TV worked after the man at the desk came up and reset it. We had pulled in while driving by, my girlfriend and I, and the quaint motel seemed nice. At first, though, our room wasn't clean, or maybe the previous guest was still there. The older man at the desk said that couldn't be right and came to look. The beds weren't finished, and he said they were trying a new guest service where they turned the beds down before arrival. I still think he made that up, but the rest of the room and the bedding were clean, so we thanked him and he left. My girlfriend still tells everyone how nice he was, no matter how many times I complained.

The room smelled stale and mildewy, so I didn't even unpack. The bedspread hid used, dirty sheets with a big urine stain. The flat sheet was threadbare and filthy, and there was hair on the sheets and stains on the pillows. The curtains had bug holes and tears or burns, and the shower head was covered in mold or mildew. The outlet by the bed was exposed and corroded, a fire hazard. The A/C did get cold quickly once it started, and the men on both the day and night shifts were understanding. I got my money back without any hassle, which gave me the feeling they were used to this. Update: The photos I attached showing these problems have somehow disappeared. Not good. I'll repost them when I can.
