Budget Inn - Orlando

Nico was the highlight of the motel. He was exceptionally polite and helpful. The rooms weren’t great, and we ended up with a smoking room, which wasn’t ideal, but the place came through for us at the last minute when we had nowhere else to go.

I walked into Budget Inn in the middle of the night after my bus was delayed so badly that I hadn’t booked anywhere else. They got me a room right away without trouble, and the front desk guy was a real lifesaver. The room could use some work, but nobody bothered me during the stay. Food places, a gas station, and the bus station are all within walking distance. I’d recommend it.

I paid before I could see the rooms, and then it was too late to get my money back. The first one had stained towels, including what looked like dried blood, a dirty toilet and sink, sticky floors, mold in the shower, and a strong mold odor. They moved me, but the next room was just as unsanitary. I refused to stay, and the hotel still wouldn’t work with Booking.com on a refund. If negative stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.

Daphne was especially kind and helpful, and the people here are very nice. It’s affordable and dependable. Whenever I’m in town and need a place, I’ll keep coming back.
