Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and Iqbal kept the coffee fresh while serving up really good waffles. Natalie made check-in feel easy and welcoming, too. Traveling alone, I especially appreciated how kind and accommodating she was. My room was quiet and clean, the heater warmed it up fast, and the large tub was just right for unwinding after a long drive. The hot water came on right away. I’d happily recommend this spot to anyone passing through Bellingham or looking for a peaceful night.

Morning Glory Inn is an easy choice when I’m in this part of the PNW. The breakfast was wonderful, and every staff member I dealt with was kind, helpful, understanding, and sometimes even generous. I travel a lot with a good black light, so I checked the room as soon as I arrived. It smelled fresh, like clean carpet and linen, and looked spotless under the light. I’ve paid many times more for rooms that weren’t this clean. I’ll actually sleep under the covers here.

The pool and hot tub were great, and the staff were really nice and helpful. It’s a decent place to stay, with grocery stores close by. Just know that if your room isn’t on the top floor, you may hear quite a bit of noise from the guests above.

I’m done booking here. I used to stay with them, but this was a horrible, disrespectful experience. Breakfast was supposed to be included, yet they had rules about it that weren’t posted anywhere. They grabbed my children without asking permission, then charged me $20 when I tried to take food to my room. Nobody sneaked in, I clearly paid for a room for two. There was no sign saying we couldn’t take food upstairs or that doing so would cost $20. The food never even left the lobby; it was thrown away there. The service and room quality were disgusting. Learn the facts, I’ll post my itinerary.

We found shops close by, and the breakfast was both tasty and filling. Danny at the front desk deserves a shout-out: he helped us sort out a problem with a smile and was great to deal with. Thanks for offering an affordable hotel with such good service.
