Wingate by Wyndham Bellingham Heritage Inn

My room was cozy and cute, and I got the upstairs room I’d asked for. I only wish it had been in the building with the hot tub. Mine was in a dark corner, and since I was alone and didn’t know the area well, I felt a little uneasy walking outside and across the street at night to reach it. The tub and its glass enclosure were clean and comfortable, just what my sore back needed. The jets’ aerator button was annoying, and in the morning it took about half an hour to get hot, though it was warm. The lobby and breakfast area were nicely decorated and very clean. I loved having real plates and silverware at breakfast instead of cheap plastic. The buildings felt like a cute little neighborhood, the staff were friendly, and you can tell they look after the place. Whenever I’m in B Ham, I’ll stay here again.

The morning front desk woman was so sweet and helpful. We talked with her a lot, and I really enjoyed it. The room was neat, clean, comfortable, and a great price for what you get. I loved the coffee bar, especially the coffee. It was my first visit, but we’ll definitely stay again when we’re back in town. I wanted to take the bed and pillows home, they were so soft you just melt into them.

A toddler accidentally booked a room through Expedia while playing with a phone. We cancelled and contacted them within 1-2 minutes, but Expedia and the motel are refusing to refund us because we chose a “non-refundable” option. I’ll be sure to tell my toddler to pick “REFUNDABLE” next time. Why can a toddler book a room so easily? Why isn’t there two-step verification for something like this?

The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a heated bathroom floor. The front desk woman was incredible too. After I tossed my keys badly from the upper stairs and they landed on the roof instead of in my hands, she saved us. We’re so grateful! A great place to stay in Bellingham.
