Motel 6 Bellmead, TX - Waco

The third room we were given was decent, though nothing special. Its light didn't work, and the phone barely worked when we tried to call out. Getting there was a mess: the sheets in our first room were nasty and the door hardly worked, so we reported it. The front desk sent us to another room, but its door wouldn't open at first. After three tries it did, only to find someone else already in there. We had to go back to the desk and finally got moved to the third room. We won't return to that motel. Worst experience ever.

I should've slept in my car. The room smelled like skunk weed, and there was loud moaning from nearby rooms. A homeless man was hanging around downstairs, and the front office staff were extremely unfriendly. On top of that, the bedspread had several cigarette burns, the towels were paper thin and worn out, and light came through the gaps around the door. I've stayed at 30 plus different Motel 6 locations over the years and never had one this deplorable. Stay away!

The location is great, but the rooms are filthy. Roaches were crawling everywhere, there was no phone in the room, and the TV remote had no batteries. The sheets and towels looked dirty, too.

I had a good time at this Hotel and got along with the owner and staff. Communication was hard because of the language barrier, but they seemed genuine. My room was fine for me: the plumbing, size, and comfort all checked off. I just wish the pool were open. It's currently closed because of the city, and they don't want to open it for the public.
