Days Inn by Wyndham Bellville Mansfield

The staff were pleasant and efficient, and I felt the stay was fair for under $100 a night. Breakfast was included, with tea and coffee, a limited amount of fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and waffles. I wasn’t expecting a big fresh country breakfast at that price, so I wasn’t disappointed. We needed a place to sleep on the way to our final vacation destination and found a room at the Quality Inn Bellville Mansfield. It’s one of the better basic motels I’ve stayed in. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable enough, and the shower better than those in many luxury hotels. They also provided basic shower supplies, a hairdryer, and an iron.

For the price, the updated room and shower were really nice. This is probably one of the best budget-friendly hotels I’ve stayed in. But there’s no guest laundry, even though both the website and Expedia say there is. That’s misleading and needs correcting.

We were worn out after 13 hours on the road and found this hotel at a good price. We don’t usually stay at a Days Inn, but the reviews made it clear why this one gets so many five-star ratings. The room was clean, and the bathroom had some nice features, especially the shower. It’s close to the interstate, but we didn’t hear traffic, and there are fast-food places nearby. My husband liked breakfast. We have a picky kid, so we walked to McDonald’s instead. If we’re in the area again, we’d definitely stay here.

The area gave me a little pause, but we didn’t run into any problems. Our renovated room felt fresh, everything was new and clean, and the bed, sheets, and towels were comfortable. We asked for a late checkout, but they couldn’t do it because of the booking. That was fine, and we had a wonderful stay.
