I’d been here years ago and already knew I loved it, but I didn’t expect my 14-year-old daughter to enjoy it so much. I thought she’d want a busy hotel with more going on, but she didn’t even want to leave, even though I’d planned activities for us. She doesn’t usually talk much, and we had lots of time to talk and share some magical moments. On our last night, she came to my room before bed, thanked me for bringing her, and gave me a hug. Thinking about it the next morning made me tear up. Best birthday gift ever. Melanie, the owner, was so patient and gracious with all my questions and requests. The home is clean, beautiful, and peaceful. There’s too much to say, you really have to experience it yourself. For a quiet getaway, it’s hard to do better.

The lake behind the beautiful house was so peaceful. Melanie goes out of her way to make things work for you, and had a chef and massages available. She’s amazing. You’ll be happy you came. Melanie, you rock!

For a peaceful, quiet escape where you can get off the grid, The Villa By The Lake in Belmont, NC., is a beautiful, well-kept place. Melanie is attentive and makes sure you have privacy. Just awesome, and we’ll be back.

Melanie is a professional and very kind owner. She’s ready to help with things like water or a brochure, and can show you around the area to point out sights. I also noticed she always answers the phone quickly. Thank you!
