The record player and vinyl selection gave the room a lot of character and made the stay feel less generic. The shower was another highlight, spacious, modern, and one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The food was excellent, too. At Hotel Goodwin in Beloit, Wisconsin, the stylish, comfortable rooms had clearly been put together with care. It was a fantastic stay from beginning to end, and I’d recommend it if you want somewhere upscale and distinctive in the Beloit area.

We went to Beloit college in the early '80s, and seeing how much Beloit has changed made our stay especially nice. Hotel Goodwin feels like part of the city’s new energy and its return to life. The friendly staff were helpful and informative, and the room had a boutique feel, with a very comfortable bed, bathrobe, and a sublime shower. We also enjoyed putting on the vinyl LPs on the record player. It was a wonderfully luxurious night.

The beds were comfortable, and the huge showers felt luxurious. Our gorgeous room had a record player and a curated selection of records, which made it easy to set whatever mood we wanted. The staff were attentive and friendly as soon as we arrived, with a shout-out to Tommy. We had a lovely night at Hotel Goodwin, a great place to stay in Beloit.

We’ve stayed here several times for staycations as a couple. The downtown Beloit location is excellent, and the vibe is great. Rooms and common areas are clean.

Exquisite, romantic, clean, and it smelled great. They even provide a guest pass for the amazing nearby ymca. We’ll be back.
