The room had a decent amount of space, the bed was fairly comfortable, and the desk clerk was nice. Check-in was quick, and the fridge was clean and already running when I got to the room. There's a public washer and dryer, though they take quarters. The bathroom was typical for a lower-end place. Getting here and back to the interstate was a little challenging, and it's not in a very good location. Parking is tight and very limited, there's no elevator, and the rooms had a "unique" smell that bothered my allergies. I didn't see a pool or exercise facilities.

The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, but the bathtub had broken pieces and the room needed some work. The pillows were terrible and need replacing. They charged a $50 deposit, and I had to call a week later because it hadn't gone back on my card. Today they returned $22, and I'm not sure why it wasn't the full amount. We left the room clean, put the garbage together, left the towels in the bathroom, and one bed was only sat on, not slept in. We didn't smoke in the room. We smoked outside in our car or on the sidewalk away from the door and air unit.

Just checked out and I'm still grinning 😊. The bed was comfy, the room spotless, and the staff super friendly. Loved the retro vibes, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Would totally stay here again! 👍

The breakfast was sparse. There were fewer than ten stale slices of bread, no napkins, and two of the three cereal dispensers were empty. In the room, the heater blew warm air all night but only made it barely warm. The bed was extremely hard and less than twelve inches from the heater, which was uncomfortable and raised safety concerns. The privacy curtain wouldn't close all the way. I also couldn't find a smoke detector or fire alert system, just some bare wires where something had once been on the wall. I'd spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else.

The staff's hospitality stood out. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, and they handled my questions and needs quickly and respectfully. Check-in went smoothly too. I had a good stay at the Econo Lodge in Belton. The room was comfortable and did what I needed for the price. It's a straightforward, affordable option with dependable service, and I'd consider coming back if I need to.
