The room wasn't as dirty as I'd expected from other reviews, but there was no microwave or fridge. Breakfast was nearly barren, and they charge $10 for it. Getting back into the city from this location is difficult, so I wouldn't stay here again. The staff I met were pleasant enough, but the hotel is in shambles. Just one elevator was supposedly working, and its door slammed into guests and their belongings because it lacked safety features. Another guest warned me shortly after check-in; she'd already been hit by the door. Shameful. The elevator certificate was six months out of date.

The staff were helpful, the room had enough space, and the heater was already on for winter. I also had a great view. The tub could use work: water kept dripping, and the drain was rusty. There was a locked connecting door to the next room, and I could hear music through it. It wasn't loud, just annoying. Little issues like these took away from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

It was a good price, the service was good, and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, with big, fluffy pillows. But it was loud on the eighth floor: traffic, the elevator, and air traffic all sounded like they were right in my room. I slept with earplugs. My AC tripped the breaker when I turned it on. I told maintenance, but it still hadn't been fixed by the end of my three-day stay. I'd stay here again, but I'd ask for a room on the other side, away from the highway, and maybe another floor to see if the elevator noise is any better.

The beds were comfortable, the linens seemed clean, the shower had some of the best pressure we've had at a hotel, and the AC worked. That's about all I appreciated. The building exterior looked decent and the lobby was alluring, but opening our room door was another story. The photos I've taken show the state of the room. In the bathroom, there was mildew on the walls, ceiling, and sink, and water kept running into the tub even with the handle off. The ceiling was buckling, patches covered much of the walls, and the mirror was hung badly enough to leave plumbing exposed. When we flushed, everything rose almost to the top as if it might overflow, then drained. In the bedroom, every TV channel said "Channel not authorized." The front desk knew about it and said it "might" be fixed tomorrow, but we were checking out in the morning. Two nights was enough. The windows had water damage and chipped paint, a baseboard was coming loose, there were dead bugs on the windowsills, and the ceiling had patchwork too. The ice machine was out of service with someone's food bowl inside it. Only two of the three elevators worked, and duct tape held up the floor display. This was our second stay at a Wyndham property, at a different location from the first, and both left me speechless. There's that saying, first time shame on you, second time shame on me. We won't stay at another Wyndham property. We're done. You just can't make this stuff up.
