The place has three TV channels, all in Spanish, and the remote doesn't even work on your own TV. It can change the neighbors' channels, though. The toilet sort of worked, I think. Don't forget the checkout T-shirt saying, “I stayed at BEST INN & SUITES- DECATUR and lived to tell about it!” Rehab is two blocks away, which felt like a thoughtful touch after this stay. I came expecting to feel refreshed and left thinking I needed oxygen and rehab. Before this, I hadn't even heard of Tylenol abuse, and now I'm wondering what could be in my system. The no-smoking rule makes sense if they're trying to protect the smoky, narcotic haze. The air felt like a smoky basement, so bring oxygen and an AC unit of your own. The one in the room barely pushed out hot, stale air. You could prop the door open, if you want to risk being noticed by the other guests. As for sleeping, I'd suggest standing up. The mattress, walls, and light fixtures seemed to have their own thriving life forms. This stay left me barely feeling like I'd survived it. Wouldn't send anyone here.

This is a well-run Mom and Pop business. My room was big, clean, and comfortable, and I didn't see any roaches. There are no extended-stay deals, though. I also made a quick trip next door.

In room 202, the bathroom sink light had a short and wouldn't switch off. The outlets didn't work, and the shower was broken, so there was no hot water. Then the manager was incredibly rude and called us crazy. I've never been this upset. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

We left that same Saturday night and slept in our truck. The room I booked was infested with bed bugs, and when I asked to switch rooms, they said they were sold out. They also refused a refund because of the check-in time. My boyfriend and I had checked in, gotten dressed, and gone out for food and drinks. When we came back and tried to settle in, the sheets had skid marks and didn't look clean. The towels looked used, the rag had tiny black hairs on it, and the shower curtain was filthy. The microwave had old stains and was so dirty I didn't want to heat my food in it. I never write reviews, but I'm fed up. 0/10, I don't recommend it.
