DoubleTree by Hilton Bemidji

I was here for an extended work trip and found it a very pleasant place to stay. The lobby felt welcoming, with a fireplace, and the water views, back patio fire pits, small beach, pier, and walkway added to the atmosphere. My room was well maintained, and the staff greeted me warmly whenever I left or came back. Thanks especially to MJ and Angie for helping with my extended stay requests and answering my questions so informatively. As a Hilton Honors Gold member, I appreciate Hilton properties meeting their quality standards. FT

The lake view was lovely, and my room was spacious and quiet. The front desk team was fantastic, and I appreciated the free EV charger. Beautiful hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and customer service was helpful and accommodating. There’s a pool, two saunas, a hot tub, and a beautiful view. A few things to keep in mind: the rooms are pricey for one night, and breakfast costs $20, though kids eat free. The selection at breakfast was limited. Housekeeping knocked at 10 even though checkout is at noon, then came back and walked into the room around 11. I still had a good experience, but those are things to consider when choosing a place.

The lakefront trail is a highlight, with history details along the way and great bird watching, and it's nice for walking or biking. There are pleasant beach and seating areas too. This was my second stay, and I really like the spacious rooms, lovely bathrooms, lake-facing balcony views, and front desk staff. Free EV charging, a washer and dryer, and a gym are available. The hot breakfast was good, although there were a couple of service problems from low staffing; the cook was excellent. Green Mill next door is good, but they closed earlier than expected that day, and nobody mentioned it at check-in even though we were planning a later meal. It usually would have stayed open until 11.
