Our family had plenty of room, and our mini aussie felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and accessories. We brought our own coffee and bathroom supplies. The place was super clean, with an amazing river view and trails close by. We loved the pool and jacuzzi. Everything was perfect, thank you again 💓

I've been staying here on trips to Bend for more than 15 years, and it's still a great value. My room always has a kitchen, which I love. The river location is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are great, and it's easy to get on and off the freeway. You can also walk through the park to downtown.

The location was probably the best part, and the view was pretty, but the roaring rapids were so loud I had to turn the TV all the way up to drown them out. The rooms were in awful shape. Our towels were dirty, the floors were disgusting, and I kept my shoes on. There was a huge stain on the comforter, so I didn't use it. The outside doorknob was nearly falling off. I complained, and they only got it partly fixed the next day. For the prices they charge, they should replace those nasty carpets with vinyl and area rugs. The coffee maker didn't work with sugar, and there wasn't any coffee except three K-cups you couldn't use. I booked a month ahead on Airbnb for my daughter's 30th birthday. A week before, an unexpected personal situation meant we had to cancel. I hadn't read the refund policy, but when I tried to cancel on the Sunday before the stay, they would refund only $298. I was shocked and asked for a full refund. The host replied the next day, offering either an insurance claim or an immediate rebooking. I was going through a lot and wasn't in the right state of mind to choose a new date, so I asked Airbnb for help. They called it a personal problem and left the decision to the host, who had already denied my request. When I went back to cancel, waiting that extra day meant the refund had dropped to $135. I cried. My life was already in distress, and this made it worse. I couldn't bring myself to hand over $222 for nothing, so I didn't cancel. I went alone because my daughter couldn't come, and greedy people ruined the whole trip. I'd have rescheduled and told people about the business if they'd shown some customer care. Instead, I won't spend another dime there. I'm a hairdresser who talks to hundreds of people a week, and I also source products for my business in places like Bend. My daughter, a former professional model who's now in the service industry, won't recommend them to her thousands of followers either. I'm an extrovert and a natural networker, and I've already told many people how awful this company is. I'm also a big LGBTQ+ community advocate, and they'll hear about it too. Once I figure out TikTok, I've got videos of the sad rooms they charge over $150 a night for on Airbnb, plus an $85 cleaning fee and a $56 animal fee. On Google they advertise $69 a night and claim a made-up 5-star rating. Talk about false advertising. Troy has 62 rooms on Airbnb, and none are highly rated, so I'm clearly not the first person to think this company is a scam. You're better off down the street at Dune Motel.

We had such a great time exploring here, paddleboarding on a clear, cold lake with trout swimming underneath us and South Sister (Mt) right in front.

The motel is older, but our rooms were clean, everything worked, and the staff were great. Our family of six stayed one night while passing through Bend, and it was a great place for families. Make sure to walk along the river just west of the motel. It's awesome.
