Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bend South by IHG

We picked this place for its good room rate and found the room comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The front desk pointed out where the pool and fitness room were and told us breakfast hours. Housekeeping quickly helped connect our TV, and the breakfast attendant kept wiping things down, restocking, and making sure the meal went smoothly. It does seem popular with families with rambunctious kids and dog owners.

The furniture and carpet were in good shape, and every staff member we met was friendly. The rooms could be a lot cleaner, though. In both of ours, there was a gross buildup on the outside of the shower and tub, and the TV remotes were disgusting. I always wipe down high-touch surfaces as soon as we arrive.

We visited Bend in July and chose the Holiday Inn because it was close to family. The stay turned out better than we expected. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and our spacious room had clean, comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and friendly. They initially couldn’t find our reservation, but one staff member managed to get us a room for the whole stay. I’d highly recommend it.

The evening desk staff were friendly, and the breakfast worker kept the area clean and well stocked. My room looked recently updated, with nothing worn, and everything worked as it should. There were no odd smells, even with the air conditioning running.
