Sonoma Lodge

For the price, this place was amazing. My husband uses a wheelchair, and the front desk woman let us see the room first so we could check that he could get through the doorway. He was able to get in. She was very sweet and helpful. We stayed one night, and the room was clean, smelled fresh, the beds were comfortable, and the TV worked. Compared with other hotels around the same price, this felt like a five-star stay. Thanks for a great visit!

The area didn’t feel very secure, with people who weren’t guests walking around asking for money. The rooms are very old, the bed was uncomfortable, and the TV was awful. Some outlets wouldn’t even hold a plug. I specifically asked whether the room had been cleaned and was told yes, but there was hair all over the bathroom floor. Avoid this place.

It isn’t fancy, but the room was spotless and affordable, which we really appreciated. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. The office smelled like Indian curry cooking, one of my favorite smells.

The room was gross, and the woman at check-in was rude. It smelled strongly of bleach, the floor was dirty, and the fridge and freezer were dirty and smelled bad too. The mirror wasn’t properly mounted, just resting on two screws, and eventually fell off the wall. There was no screen on the window, and the blinds had no way to open. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Not impressed at all.
