The pool was my favorite amenity, and the room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were so friendly and made me feel at home. I had a fantastic stay and would recommend it if you want a relaxing getaway.

The room was fine and the location convenient, but this didn’t feel like what I expect from a Marriot property. Most of the staff seemed disengaged. The morning restaurant team were the exception, and they were great. At night the place felt almost unsupervised. A man was blasting music from a speaker in the lobby bar area, and staff didn’t seem to notice. The gym was dirty, with no towels or wipes for cleaning the equipment. In my room, the ironing board nearly fell over when opened and the iron didn’t work. When I called for a replacement, the front desk said, “we don't have anybody to do that”. The refrigerator was so cold it froze my food, and there was no way to adjust it. I’m a Bonvoy member and have stayed at many Marriot properties, which are usually my first choice. This location needs work.

We booked online at a slightly better rate for January 9, 2026, when we needed to attend my husband's father's funeral. The room was average at best compared with hotels in the $250-$300 range, and not worth the price. After we got home, we noticed an undisclosed $9.95 fee. When I called, the representative asked whether I had parked in the lot, then said the charge was for parking. I hadn’t been told there would be a parking fee, and this didn’t seem like an area where parking should cost extra. The rep initially wouldn’t take responsibility. Once I said I’d tell corporate about what felt deceptive, her tone changed. She said she’d leave a note for the manager and take care of it without corporate involvement. I’d have accepted it as a mistake if it had been fixed. I’ve tried calling several times since and still haven’t received the $9.95 refund. It’s the principle, not the amount. Our business has been built on honesty, integrity, and expertise for 40 years, and we haven’t needed to advertise in over 20. I’m left with filing a dispute through my credit card company. I hope that $9.95 was worth it.

The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and seemed well maintained. I slept really well. Check-in was smooth, with staff who were warm and efficient, and the clean, calm lobby made a good first impression. For the price, I thought the stay was very good value. I’d recommend it and would be happy to come back.
