Quality Inn Benson I-10 Exit 304

The only thing I liked was that the queen bed in my room was very clean when I arrived. For almost $500 for five nights, that wasn’t enough. This was my first time in Arizona, and Quality Inn Motel advertising a working hot tub online made me book here. I called more than once the week before to check, and was told it worked. In reality, after being told it needed an hour to warm up, I waited and found the water freezing. I told the night clerk. The pool was covered the entire time, and nobody used it. Breakfast was another issue. Staff put up signs or notes saying only one yogurt per person, and one morning, two days before I left, a worker stopped me while I was making oatmeal and told me to put the extra packets back. I’d already put them on the table to eat, and it felt insulting and cheap. One night, two older women and their two dogs kept me awake from around 5 a.m., barking, slamming doors, and yelling at the dogs. The dogs got out of their room and barked by my door in the middle of the night. I called the desk and complained. They apologized, and I asked for a room change if the same people were there that night. Thankfully, they weren’t there the next night. The hot tub not working after I checked in advance, and the way guests were confronted over breakfast food, made this a terrible stay. I’ll complain to the manager owner when I get back to my home state. Most of the employees were nice, though one was rude.
