Staybridge Suites Benton Harbor - St. Joseph by IHG

Michelle and Nicole at the front desk really stood out. They were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making check-in easy and the stay more enjoyable. The hotel was clean and comfortable too. We had a great visit at the Staybridge Suites in Benton Harbor, and I’d highly recommend it.

I was there for work from the 3rd to the 21st, and the whole stay went great. Nicole and Lew were especially good. On our first day, Nicole checked in with us in the lobby, chatted for a bit, and arranged room service for when we wanted it. She was really kind and personable. Thanks for making the place feel home-y!

The rooms were clean, the sheets had no stains, and the bathroom was polished with toiletries included. The air conditioning cooled the room easily without any moldy smell, and the room smelled natural rather than unpleasant. Breakfast is included too, a nice way to start the morning, and we’d book again next time we’re in the area. After our horror story at the Red Roof Inn down the road on our last weekend in St Joes, we did our homework and paid a little more for a better hotel. This place exceeded what we expected. Parking was easy in the spacious, tidy lot. Friendly staff got us settled and gave us keys promptly in the attractive lobby. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, laundry, a private pool, and a spot to use a PC for email if you need a computer while traveling. The elevators were nice, the hallways clean, and the signs made it easy to find our room.

We keep coming back to this hotel whenever we’re in southwest Michigan. It’s our go-to, and we’ve never had a bad stay. The suite-style rooms come with complimentary breakfast.
