Don’t stay here if you don’t want bugs in your hair or belongings. After about three days here, I got head lice, and there were roaches everywhere even though I had checked the beds. The water temperature was awful, and the customer service was too. Staff kept banging on our door while the neighbors were the ones causing the problem. Forget the ratings. This is not a place I’d recommend.

The room was clean enough, the water pressure was fair, and the TV and Wi-Fi were good. The bed was okay for one night. There was a microwave and fridge, but no coffee maker in the room. The lobby had nothing for breakfast, not even coffee, though maybe 6:15 was too early. It works well enough for a night to sleep, shower, and rest, and there’s a Waffle House right next door.

I’ve stayed here many times, and the staff have always been kind and helpful. My rooms have been clean, the linens fresh, and the TV channel selection and internet service good. The hotel is dated, though it’s clearly being updated. The desk clerk keeps an eye on safety and has met me in the parking lot when I arrived late on a couple of visits. This visit was for a funeral, and the day and evening staff were especially empathetic. They checked if I needed anything and always had a kind word. There’s a Waffle House and an Olive Garden within walking distance, plus easy highway access. There’s no pool for kids, but it’s a good option for business or personal travel if you want a clean room at a reasonable price.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the bedroom was clean. The bathtub, unfortunately, hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guests. I’ll come back if I need to and update this review. If you’re after an affordable place to stay, it’s a strong contender.
