Motto By Hilton Bentonville Downtown

I was here for work and really enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and just the right size for me, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It's also a great spot for walking to places. I had to leave a day early because of the weather, but I'd be glad to stay again.

The breakfast burrito from the coffee Cafe inside the hotel was huge, more than I needed first thing in the morning, but so tasty I kept eating. The downstairs lounge and lobby feel cozy and welcoming, and the rooms are modern and super clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming, too. A great boutique-like place to stay while spending time in Bentonville.

The location worked well as a biking base, with bars and restaurants in walking distance and Crystal bridges just a short walk away. The bike valet keeps bikes safely inside, and since there isn't private parking, we used the valet for our car too. The workout room was a highlight. It has a garage door for fresh air, a couple of bikes, treadmills, a rower, free weights, mats, a bosu ball, medicine balls, and a multi-use weight machine. Towels, water, and cleaning cloths are provided. The rooms are tiny, and the shower and toilet doors both open into the room, which felt a bit claustrophobic to me. There's a mini fridge and good lighting, but no coffee machine. There was no ice available at the bar, and the bartender sent me to the front desk. I waited 10 minutes for a full ice bucket while the clerk handled check-ins and calls. The lobby was full of business people talking over papers and laptops, so it felt like a noisy, chaotic workplace instead of the relaxed mountain biker atmosphere I expected. Hilton should build another downtown hotel with larger rooms for bikers.

I liked this hotel a lot. The rooms are small but practical, and the place is clean with very friendly people. The coffee shop is good and easy to get to, and Motto is in a great walkable area. It took me a while to figure out how to switch all the room lights on and off, though. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
