Regal Inn

The room was clean, and that bed was so comfortable. The front desk was great too. I honestly couldn't believe how nice the stay was, and I enjoyed it. Thank you, Regal Inn. I'm not sure where some of the other reviewers stayed, but I had a great experience here.

For an overnight stay where you just need the basics, Regal Inn does the job. The price may be the main appeal, though, since anyone looking for more amenities might want to pay more and stay elsewhere. Everything costs enough these days, doesn't it? The room was very clean and the furnishings were neatly arranged, though there wasn't much in the way of furniture. Still, it had a stark, cold feel. The hard floor and almost complete lack of sound absorption made the room echo like a dungeon when I first walked in. The plank-style flooring looked decent, and I can see why it's easier to clean than deep-pile carpet, but it felt impersonal.

After a day out in the hot sun, the cold air from the AC was just what I needed while I rested on a comfortable bed. The unit also has a heater and fan setting if you get cold. My room was clean, with fresh linens, towels, and soap, and the housekeepers kept things tidy. The TV worked and had all the channels available, and the free Wi-Fi was fast. The boss man was welcoming and made the stay feel safe and relaxing. It's a nice spot to rest during a vacation before getting back on the road.

I won't be back and can't recommend this place. At the end of my week, I woke up to what looked like pellet shots across my rental car's windshield. Management and the security cameras were no help. Earlier in the stay, someone emptied my stocked refrigerator midweek. Management only said they were sorry, which didn't make up for the loss or inconvenience. They offered a small bottle of water and a can of Coke. The trip had started badly too, with a roach in the room, unclean sheets, and an unclean bathroom. An empty soap wrapper in the tub made the bathroom situation pretty clear.
