He’s a real professional and deserves a raise and Christmas bonus. You’ve got a gem there, so don’t lose him. Jay, you’re one of the best customer service people I’ve met. My husband and I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels. After a week here without internet, we had to use our personal hotspot. We raised the issue with the front desk several times and again when they texted to ask about our stay, but it still wasn’t addressed. They said the connection problem was because our room was at the very end of the hallway. If you have a lot of paperwork to carry down to the lobby like we do, I’d suggest asking for a room toward the interior of the hotel. We also asked for a hot plate. They gave us an induction burner, which was fine, and said there were pans in it but no pots. When I asked about cookware to go with it, she told me I could go to Walmart for whatever else I needed. That didn’t make me happy. We’ve stayed at other Home 2suites and were never told to go buy the rest of what we needed.

I’m on the road transporting items all over the country and sleep in hotels most nights. This place was clean, quiet, and well located, so I’ll save it for future stays. The kitchen isn’t really a full kitchen since there’s no stove or cooktop, only microwave cooking. Also, the showerhead regulator makes the water pressure awful. If you’re in a hurry, take some pots of water in wit you.

The hotel itself is fine, but I’ve taken my business elsewhere and canceled my future stays. The day staff at the front desk were consistently rude and unprofessional. That attitude makes it not worth coming back. Hospitality matters.
