We got in during the middle of the night and they had rooms available on the first floor. We woke up late, but the staff were really nice and let us stay and get ready without charging us for another day. Everyone who works here is nice, and the rooms are clean and really nice. Thanks, Red Roof, for letting us stay the night with you.

We didn’t even check in until 7am, paid $88, and the owners rushed us out at 2pm. We’d have been better off sleeping in the car. Before 10am, the people next door were already moving around, slamming the door, going in and out, talking and laughing loudly with their guests, and blasting music. The place smelled of stale cigarettes, urine, and marijuana. There was another girl’s hair on the shower wall, and the coffee maker badly needed cleaning. It’s just like any other cheap motel.

I’d never been to Berea before, and my first experience there was with Mitch at the Red Roof Inn. I was really pleased with the reservation. He let me check in early to a newly renovated room. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was exceptional.

It was quiet, very clean, and smelled of fresh paint. The front desk staff were friendly, and Wendy’s is right next door. Pets are welcome.
