The Chapman Inn is going to be our anniversary place from now on. My husband and I spent two nights there for our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better stay. We loved taking an evening walk through town, and the location was perfect. The Inn is beautiful and cozy, with clean, quaint rooms that still keep their original style. Sandra, the owner, was so welcoming. We really enjoyed talking with her and hearing her stories about the Inn. Her breakfasts were delicious, with a nice range of options for everyone. We HIGHLY recommend The Chapman Inn!

We stayed at this family run inn after a day of hiking and slept well in a comfortable bed. Our room had its own bathroom, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. The historic inn is beautiful and the rooms are nice. Groups can stay in the carriage house, which has lots of bunks and beds plus a shared bathroom. There's also a pool table, ping pong, a bar, a TV room, and a Moose Head! A great spot for hiking or skiing in the area.

Before setting off on a section hike of the Appalachian Trail, my boyfriend and I spent a night at the Chapman Inn. Breakfast wasn't available because of COVID, but Sandy was so hospitable and cheerful that the stay was absolutely worthwhile. She made sure we were comfortable before our back breaking adventure. We'll be back next time we're in town!

We had a wonderful stay at the Chapma Inn and will certainly return. Sandra, the owner, and her dog, Mike, were lovely to meet. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were extremely accommodating. They made a complimentary breakfast especially for us, and it was excellent.

Chapman was a lucky find after a terrible Airbnb start in Bethel. We'd paid $280 for a one night booking, but arrived to an unmade bed, dirty towels, and trash in the condo. We cancelled and searched for local inns. When we walked into Chapman, Sandy, the sweet owner, offered us a clean, quaint room for $130, with a tasty breakfast in the morning. We really enjoyed staying there. Sandy is a gem, and this was a good reminder that local places can be incredible and AirBnb isn't always superior. Highly recommend The Chapman Inn!
