Courtyard Little Rock North

JACOY waited on us, and he was professional and helpful. The king room had a lovely layout, and the hotel was quiet and clean, with plenty of parking. The Bistro serves breakfast and light meals. We walked to The Whole Hog Cafe for BBQ, and Outback Steak House is also within walking distance. Thank you!

The room was nice, seemed clean, and had the usual Marriott amenities. The Courtyard looks updated from the outside, but both elevators had very soft floors that looked like they were held down with packaging tape. It felt insecure and looked awful. The front desk service was disappointing. The woman checking me in had earbuds in and was talking on her personal phone every time I spoke to her during my stay. It felt very unprofessional, and we won’t stay here again.

The place was clean and roomy, and the location was great, with lots of shops and places to eat nearby. Weekend traffic toward Little Rock can be heavy, but manageable. The Bistro was just okay, and the evening worker on 12/14 seemed new. She couldn’t answer our questions and wouldn’t get help. Our stay was fine apart from the people at the desk. At checkout on 12/15, Melanie was rude. I asked three times for a printed receipt before she finally gave me one, insisting first that I wait for the emailed copy. She huffed, threatened to report me to Marriott after I called her rude and told her to lay off the drugs, and her mouth was twitching badly. She wouldn’t tell me her name, so I had to ask other staff. After she repeated my name and said, “hmm I see the address on file as well,” it sounded like an implication. I contacted Marriott support and emailed the AGM and GM, though I probably won’t hear back.

Jamal greeted me when I walked in, and I could tell I’d enjoy the stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms quiet, and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast at the Bistro was pretty good, with portions big enough that my kids could have shared.
