Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bethlehem Arpt-Allentown Area

The people at the front desk were so friendly. I’m not from the area and had arranged to have something shipped here because I thought I’d be staying a night or two. My plans changed unexpectedly, but they still let me pick up the package. Good people are hard to find these days. Thanks, and I’ll make sure to book a room here in the near future.

The rooms were very clean and modern, though nothing fancy, and the front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. The location worked well for us: far enough outside town to keep the price reasonable, but close enough to everything to get around easily. It made for a nice stay.

I stayed for a few days, and every day I came back to find dirty towels with hair and stains, an unmade bed, and bathrooms that hadn’t been cleaned. I brought it to the staff’s attention each day and asked for fresh towels, bathroom cleaning, and the bed to be made. The so-called new towels still had hair and pubic hair on them, including black pubic hair, plus long blonde and red hairs on different days. The air and heat vents also had mold. Today, Janine, the manager, told me I could no longer stay after I asked to speak with her about it. I’d raised the problem politely, but was told they didn’t want me to remain because of the issues I’d found. The way this was handled was very poor and unprofessional. There was no acknowledgment or urgency about fixing a problem involving hygiene items. This is disgusting, and I don’t recommend staying here. I’ll provide pictures.

We had a Park and Stay reservation and called the front desk for the shuttle after returning from our trip. They said the van would be right over, but we stood outside in 35-degree weather for 30 minutes. When we called again, the clerk said it had been sent 20 minutes earlier. The airport is only a mile from the hotel. We waited another 10 minutes, called again, then called once more five minutes later. Eventually the driver arrived and told us he’d only just been asked to pick us up. Back at the hotel, we asked the front desk clerk to make things right, but got excuses instead.
