Disgusting. The burners barely get water to a boil, and both the original ones and their replacements put thick black smoke into the room. The new burners were coated in black stuff too. The ESA team here said they’d never seen them spit that black mess everywhere, and it’s impossible to clean up. There are no working fans and some screens are missing. Corporate should investigate this place.

The so-called free breakfast was instant oatmeal and a Nutragrain bar. My room was old and run down, and the bed was hard as a rock. I also noticed several bad smells during my stay, including someone’s perfume on my pillow in the middle of the night. I booked just as a remodel was coming up, so I hope I never have to stay here again. When I first walked into the “lobby,” it was just a wall and a front desk. A Rod Stewart ad on the TV briefly made me think the place might be somewhat nice. One staff member told me he’d tried to reassure another guest that the hotel was safe, despite a murder there a few months earlier. I wouldn’t be surprised if they let Section 8 live here.

The service was great, and it’s not the staff’s fault that the place is in this condition. This seems like a long-term buildup. But I was nauseated and uncomfortable the whole time. The room smelled like it had been used for smoking for a long time, and the hallway, elevator, and lobby each had their own horrible smell. I’ve stayed in hotels like this before and never felt this uncomfortable. They need a serious revamp or better air filtration. Even at this low price, it wasn’t worth it.

The first room smelled strongly of cigarettes and marijuana, even though I’d asked for a non-smoking room. It also had bed bugs. When I asked to move, the staff acted as though they were doing me a favor instead of dealing with a serious problem. The second room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I have multiple videos and pictures as proof. The stay was so awful I had to throw away my son’s clothes and my own. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
