Springhill Suites BY Marriott Bettendorf

The room was roomy, with a nice sitting area, and the staff were friendly. Check-in and checkout were really quick, several restaurants were walkable, and the fitness center had good equipment. Sleep was less comfortable. The mattress was so lumpy my butt felt two feet lower than the rest of me, and sound traveled badly between floors. There were several flies in the bathroom, apparently coming up from the shower drain when we arrived. The cubby under the TV could’ve been useful storage, but it was filthy even though the rest of the room was clean. The thermostat light never went off, so I couldn’t get the room completely dark. The door lock was the weirdest part. The deadbolt re-engaged as soon as I let go of the handle, so I needed the key card both to open and close the door when coming and going. A switch on the door seemed to control it, but either position did the same thing. Super annoying.

We were traveling from Denver to a funeral in Chicago, so it was an emotional trip. The staff were kind and friendly, and this Hotel really knows hospitality. It was super clean too. Courtney and Madi were rock stars. We stopped again on the return trip, and Courtney remembered us and left a thank-you card in our room. They ROCK Hospitality. Thanks for making both stays amazing. I wish I could give this location more than 5 stars.

The room was clean and well kept, though the bathroom vanity was tiny. Rita was so sweet and helpful while we were there. Great customer service, and we had a great stay.

We picked a random hotel with decent ratings after a late wedding check-in, and ended up really happy with Springhill suites. It was surprisingly great. The whole hotel was clean and beautiful, the rooms were a nice size, and the beds were comfortable. There were random sacks and drinks for a cheap price, and breakfast was included. The best part was how clean it was, along with Rita’s amazing service. She was super friendly and helped us with whatever we needed after a long night. We’ll be back!
