It was quiet overall, and the room was decent, but there was hair all around the bathroom floor, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The front desk was never staffed, so I had to call the number to get checked in. If you rely on T-Mobile, be aware that service may be poor here. My phone was roaming in this town.
It was pretty quiet, and the price was decent, but the mattress could use replacing. Sometimes the hot water ran out, too. I saw three different maids before my sheets finally got changed by the third one. She was very polite and said she was working on her own.
The clean room had a microwave and fridge, and the fluffy towels and plenty of hot water were the nicest parts. Scottwood is a former Motel 8, so it’s nothing fancy. There seemed to be water damage, the bottom of the wallboard looked odd, and there was bare concrete flooring everywhere except the bathroom. From a downstairs room, you can hear people walking upstairs, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. It works as a motel for working out of, but I’d keep looking if you have the family with you.
We come up to visit my husband while he’s working here. The management is amazing and very friendly. Our rooms were cleaned daily and smelled amazing. Couldn’t ask for kinder people.
We stayed for two months and had a pleasant, quiet stay. It’s pet friendly, clean, and pest-free, with excellent service and really nice, friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone coming to the Beulah area.
