Kimpton La Peer Hotel by IHG

Kimpton La Peer was a great fit for traveling with my kids and our dog. It manages to feel stylish and lively while still being relaxed and comfortable. Carlos at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and looked after us throughout the stay. The valet team were quick and friendly, which made arriving and leaving much easier. We liked the outdoor bar and lounge too. My daughter enjoyed the DJ, and my son and I liked the food. Service was phenomenal, and the location is hard to beat. We’ll definitely come back to WeHo.

We stumbled across this little gem last summer and were impressed by how much care and attention the staff gave us. It’s tucked between Santa Monica and Melrose, quiet and private but within easy walking distance of everything. It’s also pet-friendly with no extra charge. The boutique feel is intimate, and the staff look after guests like family. During our last stay, my pup was a little backed up, so front desk manager Andre brought him a homemade sweet potato remedy the next day, even though it was his day off. They also made my birthday special with thoughtful treats in the room and a personalized card from Dyanne and Andre. They’ve both moved on to other opportunities, but La Peer is lucky to have Carlos, Emanuel P, and Jack representing the brand. They’re professional, friendly, and helpful. Shoutout to the current manager, Jade, too. We’ll always choose Kimpton La Peer when we’re in town. It’s our home away from home.

The bar had great drinks and a really good atmosphere, and I also appreciated the coffee and kombucha in the lobby as a nice way to start the day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after being out in the city. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The La Peer Hotel is right in the heart of West Hollywood, convenient for nightlife, restaurants, and everything nearby. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We spent a wonderful four-night long weekend here, and the hotel delivered on location, service, and quality. This was our second visit, and Mark gave us a warm welcome at check-in that made us feel we’d picked the right place again. Everyone at the La Peer Hotel seemed sincere and proud to work there. We checked out at 4 a.m. on Monday, a dreadful hour, but Carli and Dennis at the front desk were pleasant and engaging, and managed to send us off smiling. That impression will stay with us until we return. Great food, location, happy hour, people, and value for the money.
