Days Inn by Wyndham El Paso Airport East

I got moved through four rooms. The first had standing water in the tub, the second was already occupied, and the third had no hot water, shower curtain, or phone. I can’t say whether irons and blow dryers are normally provided, but one room I was moved out of did have a blow dryer. I called the front desk twice about an iron and was told a tenant was using it. The place was filthy and had bugs, the doors didn’t secure, and the pool was empty. There was no complimentary breakfast. The employees seemed incompetent and uninformed about their jobs and the amenities. Wyndham should be ashamed to have its name on this property. Don’t stay here.

I got a room for under $50, which mattered to me, and the front desk staff were very nice and knew the area. This seems more like a weekly hotel, and the cleaning wasn’t done very well. The manager needs to teach the staff how to deep clean. There are plenty of cameras, so it felt relatively safe. I’d bring kids here, though the adults seemed fine. I didn’t see any junkies. A lot of people are just struggling with life, and most of the cars in the lot looked at least ten years old.

I was visiting my girlfriend from the East Coast and won’t come back. There was no breakfast or in-room phone, and the hot water barely worked. The door was damaged and hard to push open, and the bathroom door was broken. The heater made a loud noise and wouldn’t turn on. There was no room service, and nobody even knocked to ask whether I needed towels. The ice machine was broken and the laundry room was out of order. I wouldn’t recommend this motel.

We had no hot water, and it took ages for the water to warm up. The lights didn’t work, the doors were in bad shape and hard to open, and the bathroom door was broken. Nobody came by to ask if we needed clean sheets. I won’t stay there again.
