The river view was so peaceful, and the dinner and dessert were phenomenal. Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed, and check-in was easy. Such a wonderful winter stay at Strawhouse Resort. We’ll definitely be back and recommend staying here.

That little welcome note was such a sweet touch. We stayed one winter night in Cottage 26, and the warm, cozy place had all the kitchenware we needed. Communication and check-in were both easy and clear. With the river nearby, I can imagine it’d be a lovely summer getaway too.

The grounds are really pretty and so well kept. It’s nice to find a relaxing cafe like the strawhouse Cafe in a rural spot, with local art, good food, and coffee. You can see through the house’s glass windows that it really is built with straw. We even bought a piece of local art. Cheers to the owners!

We’re planning to return in the summer, do some rafting, and spend time on the deck. We stayed in a cottage by the river, and the view was fantastic. The owners made us a wonderful dinner and brought it right to our cottage. Beautiful place, great food and coffee!

I didn’t rent a room, just stopped in on my way to the coast and did some fishing. I was curious about the place, and the Trinity bagel was delicious. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and beautiful views.
