I’ve lived in Los Angeles all my life, and this was my first time seeing this beautiful little lake. It reminded me a bit of a Disneyland attraction, only this is real. The big city is just a stone's throw away, and the lake is hidden in plain view. Come enjoy it.

The Big Brrrr Cabin was spotless and cozy, and I had the best experience there. I loved little touches like the bear paw in the dresser and the fireplace. The owners or Airbnb host were really nice and accommodating.

Snowy Big Bear Lake makes for a magical winter escape, with white covered scenery, cozy cabins, sledding, and mountain views. Weekends can get pretty crowded, though.

I was feeling lazy, but still wanted my family to have a happy trip. My family booked an Airbnb with a lake view, and I love this place. One side looks out at the lake, the other at the road and mountain. My cousin, who came from Vietnam, said the same. It was her first time traveling in the USA 😂

Boating was fun, and it's not far from LA. You can make a day trip or stay overnight and enjoy the calm. A place worth visiting, highly recommended.
