The sheets were stained, the shower barely worked, and I wouldn’t touch the curtains. I ended up sleeping on top of my own clothes because there was no way I was getting under those covers. I also saw roaches near the mini fridge and what looked suspiciously like mouse droppings in the bathroom. When I complained at the front desk, they shrugged it off like it was normal. Hygiene clearly isn’t a priority. The room smelled foul, like mildew, old carpet, and despair. The decor looked untouched since the 1970s, with stained wallpaper, flickering lights, and furniture falling apart. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Pay extra and go somewhere else. This hotel should honestly be shut down for health violations.

The property was very outdated and had a strong, unpleasant smell throughout. I noticed signs of rodents and other pests, which was concerning. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful when I raised problems. It seems poorly maintained and needs a city inspection. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

For an inexpensive stay, Motel 6 would’ve been a better choice. The room was very dark, with brown paint, and the walls were so thin you could hear conversations from every direction. It doesn’t seem like much maintenance has been done at this motel in years. Management was only on site during check-in hours. The weekend night cost $225 total, and it wasn’t worth it.

It’s in a nice area, and the rooms were cozy and nice, though nothing remarkable. But sound carries from the rooms next door and outside, so you have to keep quiet too. At night, you can’t do much or even talk a little loudly.

The staff responded quickly whenever I made a request, and it was great value for the weekend, especially since the location worked well for the Tour de Big Bear event I was attending. The room and furniture were dated, though. The pullout couch needed fresh sheets, and the ones there looked used. There’s no air conditioning, which was an issue on hot summer days.
