Walk to Big Bear Marina: Modern Home w/ Hot Tub!

The staff were helpful. I’d booked a small boat for eight hours, but Chris suggested a pontoon instead. We took it out for four hours of fishing and cruising and had a great time. The lake is long, so the pontoon was more comfortable and got us to the dam area faster.

We first stopped by to get a lake-use permit for our kayak, and the process was seamless. The dock employee was friendly and efficient, and everyone we met was nice. The following week we rented a six-person pontoon, had a great time on the lake, and they even provided a large Bluetooth speaker for music. A couple of weeks after that, we rented two wave runners and enjoyed those too. Cameron was lovely and helpful, and the machines ran smoothly. I’d definitely do it again, unless I buy my own wave runners!

We took our grandson, a toddler, out for an hour on a small pontoon. It was a lovely trip, with no problems and plenty of fun, and the short ride was just the right length before he got bored and wanted to head back. The wait wasn’t bad. The boat was clean but weathered, and the price felt fair. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. You’ll enjoy it.

We topped up the fuel before the busy Fourth of July celebration. The attendant was really helpful and joked with us about the coming long weekend. It was my first time out on the lake, and it was a super fun day. The water felt a little cold getting in, then great once I was in. It gets busier around midday, so head out early for calmer, glassy water and fewer people.
