Beautiful cabins and views, and an awesome place to stay. The only problem we ran into was the shower hot water: one person could shower, then we had to wait a while before the next person. A point-of-use water heater would be the way to go.

We keep coming back to this cabin for our family trips to Big Sky. There's room for all 10 of us, and being able to step outside and ski is hard to beat. The kids are happy with the games and hot tub, while the adults get the fireplace and hot tub too. It's a beautiful place to spend time together, and our trip wouldn't feel the same without it.

Our first time skiing at Big Sky was mostly a great trip, but the reservation problems were a real headache. We booked months ahead, then got notice about two weeks before arrival that we'd have to leave our cabin for one night because they'd overbooked. That cost us about two hours of morning skiing on what may have been one of the season's best days. We also had to move everything, wait until 4 p.m. for the other cabin, and found its hot tub sitting at 70 degrees and unusable. Management's response felt like 'tough, too bad' even though we were paying $500 a night. I'd look at VRBO or another booking option besides Big Sky Resort central accommodations. The cabins are clean and nicely placed along the slopes, though access depends on which one you get. Some are truly ski-in/ski-out; others sit farther back and require a walk to the trail. The dinnerware was in pretty poor shape for the price, especially the pans, which were almost impossible to clean. A replacement set costs about $20, so that was frustrating.
